You do have many stories. And I think the book will be great. Your dad may not have been a public figure. You may not be a public figure. Nevertheless, this story of the real coming of age — as an adult — strikes a universal note not often heard; I’m sorry but popping the cherry or doing bong hits for the 1st time is not the real coming of story. The struggle to be one’s own (wo)man without feeling like a traitor to a parent is one we all face, money or no money, whether we get along with the parent or not, notwithstanding the death of that parent.
